Say Hello to Live Love Lash’s April Employee of the Month, Shannon!
#1 What are the three words that best describe you?
Oh gosh, I don’t really know! I suppose- sensitive, enthusiastic and perfectionist.
#2 If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?
If it were up to me I’d choose Sandra Bullock! She’s great!
#3 Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
I’m actually incredibly shy, as hard as it is to believe sometimes.
#4 What is on your bucket list?
I’d like to finish college
#5 What is the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
I have worked a LOT of weird jobs! I had the most fun slinging popcorn, first at a local independent movie theatre then again in a gourmet popcorn and candy Shoppe in a small town in Texas.
#6 What is the worst thing you did as a kid?
In the grand scheme of things I didn’t get into much trouble as a kid, but when I did it was usually because I wasn’t paying attention. For instance, I commonly locked my parents keys in their cars. Oops!
#7 What is the one thing you cannot resist?
#8 You’re happiest when?
I’m happiest when I’m camping with my husband and our dogs!
#9 Do you have a favorite quote?
“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again; And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michaelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.” – Pablo Casals
#10 Do you have a inspirational quote or personal mantra?
“Work hard and be nice to people”
