Halloween is the most wonderful time of year (in my opinion)! Sometimes Halloween makeup can be a little intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be! Anyone can recreate this look! The only thing I bought for this costume was a 6$ pair of gold cat ears. Below is a short overview of how to master this look:
Step One
I started by applying my foundation, concealer, and contour like normal. I set my makeup with a loose translucent powder. I did my eyebrows like usual as well.
Step Two
I used a primer for my eyeshadow and started my cut crease eyeshadow. (You don’t have to do a cut crease since that can be a little difficult. You can do any type of smokey eye!) I used darker shadows for a more dramatic look. Remember to BLEND BLEND BLEND! All of this can be customizable for the colors you want to use for your look!
Step Three
Then I started my cat-eye eyeliner! I used Xtreme Lashes® GlideLiner Long Lasting Eye Pencil in shades Xtreme Black and Gold. I extended my black winged liner all the way out to my temples and to the insides of my eye to my nose.(Remember this is for a costume, so more drama the better!) On top of my black eyeliner I applied the gold. This helps to make the black eyeliner really pop!
Step Four
The glitter on the eyelids/lips is totally optional. I happen to LOVE glitter so I had to add some. I added gold glitter on my eyelids with a flat concealer brush. First I applied white eyelash adhesive to my eyelid, then dabbed the glitter on top. After applying the glitter I went back and touched up my eyeliner. Then I applied a crazy dramatic pair of false lashes!
Step Five
Then I started to draw on the nose with Xtreme Lashes® GlideLiner Long Lasting Eye Pencil in Xtreme Black. I decided to do a heart shape on the top of the nose. I even colored the inside of my nostrils black to make it look more realistic.
Step Six
Then I extended the nose to the lips with one solid black line on the cupids bow. I filled in my lips with the GlideLiner in Xtreme Black. On my bottom lip I added gold glitter to match my eyelids. Again I used white lash adhesive to make the glitter stick.
Step Seven
For my kitty cat whiskers I made sure to sharpen my GlideLiner in Xtreme Black to a very fine tip. I then drew 3 small dots on each side above my lip. Then, I drew 3 whisker like lines on each side. These do not have match perfectly on each side. Lastly I used a setting spray to ensure all of this makeup would stay in place!
Remember this is supposed to be fun and make you feel glamorous! Put on your favorite Halloween tunes and get in the spooky mood!
