#1 What are the three words that best describe you?

Life. Long. Learner.

#2 If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?

Dead or Alive? How about both.

Dead–Rita Hayworth

Alive–Kate Winslet

#3 Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.

I’m a published writer.

#4 What is on your bucket list?

I desperately want to go to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves in New Zealand.

#5 What is the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

I worked as a Resident Assistant (RA) in college. One time, there was a bat in the breezeway of the elevators, and the office called me to catch it. With the help of an odd kid getting off the elevator, a blanket, and a laundry basket, I captured the bat and released it back into the wild! Very strange indeed.

#6 What is the worst thing you did as a kid?

When I was about seven years old, my babysitter made my sister and I go to a basketball game to see her boyfriend play. Needless to say, we were not excited. So, I decided to go on an adventure under the basketball bleachers. There, I found some pennies and a deflated volleyball. When that became boring, I traveled to the hallway and found a pay phone. I dialed the usual numbers; all the ones you know at seven: my parents, my grandparents, and then–finally–911. When I heard, “Hello, 911. What’s your emergency?” I freaked out, dropped the phone, and ran to the bathroom where I remained until the cops found me. Oddly enough, my parents weren’t really that upset with me.

#7 What is the one thing you cannot resist?

I cannot resist kittens.

#8 You’re happiest when?

I am happiest when I am near my family and my love with a fluffy cat laying on my lap–preferably drinking wine, eating chocolate, and watching a movie 🙂

#9 Do you have a favorite quote?

“When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.” Hunter S. Thompson

#10 Do you have a inspirational quote or personal mantra?

“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” Oscar Wilde
